A Rare Case of Perforated Meckel’s Diverticulum Coexisting with Acute Appendicitis

Meckel’s Diverticulum is a common congenital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract due to persistence vitellointestinal duct. It usually found as an incidental finding in approximately 2 4 % population patients undergoing appendicectomy or any other pathology. Obstruction, bleeding, diverticulitis and perforation are various presentations complicated diverticulum. Incidence perforated diverticulum only about 0.5%. Coexistence appendicitis with rare presentation thus, making routine search for meckel’s intraoperatively all cases mandatory practice. Here we report such case coexistence acute 12 year female patient.
